How did Cleo come into your world?

We adopted Cleo from the Animal Welfare League around 18 months ago when she was 2 and a half years old. We had a connection with Cleo upon our first meeting and we were excited to have her join our family. Her life before meeting us is a mystery and we've gradually learned so much about her.

How would you describe her personality?

Cleo is loving blonde bombshell and a real smoocher that will lick the face of anyone she meets. She is the best couch buddy when watching TV or reading a book, simply loves to have a cuddle or a snooze with her head resting on our laps.

If she could tell us all something about you, what would she say?

We reckon Cleo feels very lucky we found her, taking her out of the shelter to a loving home. I hope in time she learns that we'll never abandon her. When we adopted her she was so skinny, I'm certain there were periods in her life where her needs were not met but now she is very loved and has everything she needs.

What does she love to do the most?

Cleo loves to relax and lay in the sunshine, she is a pretty lazy dog. She absolutely enjoys her walks and especially when we go hiking in the bush. She also can't miss an opportunity for a massage or a brush, and gets this goofy smile on her face when we hit the right spot.

How has having Cleo changed your life?

Cleo has brought so much happiness into our lives, she gets us out of the house more because we want to take her on hikes. If we've had a long and stressful day at work and get home, she'll always put a smile on our face and cheer us up.
